Information infrastructure of the SFB/TRR 339
Research data, that are assembled and generated in the SFB/TRR 339 project as documented, reproducible results, have a fundamental value for the efficient, high-quality and sustainable development and further utilization of new knowledge.
While subprojects B06 and B07 handle questions of basic research with regard to the modeling and the technical setup/operation of the Digital Twin Road, subproject INF provides services to ensures the necessary information infrastructure for the data exchange and the information-technical aspects of the cooperation of the subprojects in the SFB/TRR project during the generation phase of the Digital Twin Road in the form of a common working environment. The necessary reproducibility and interpretability of input and output data over their life cycle (data collection, analysis, archiving) is to be guaranteed by the use and further development of a Technical Information System - TIS (modular database, based on Detact, for searching, finding, accessing, using, archiving, publishing and exchanging data) in the SFB/TRR 339 network as a virtual research data environment (VFDU).
