Prof. Hao Wang is Professor and Graduate Program Director of Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at Rutgers University, USA. He is currently a guest researcher at TU Dresden, Germany, under TU Dresden fellowship, contributing to the ongoing DFG funded research project SFB/TRR 339. His research is focused on integrating innovative materials, computational modeling, non-destructive testing, and AI tools to realize sustainable, resilient, and smart pavement and transportation infrastructure. He is a Fellow of the ASCE Engineering Mechanics Institute (EMI) and the recipient of ASCE Huber Award and AASHTO High Value Research Project Award. He received his Ph.D. in civil engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 2011.
