Project
In the SFB/TRR 339, the development of the Digital Twin Road is pursued through interdisciplinary research within subprojects, which are assigned to the following project areas:
Physical level (numerical partial model development, experimental characterization of material and structure, development of functionalized materials, integration of materials and sensor technology into the structure, data transmission paths in the structure),
Informational level (measurement/sensor technology, acquisition, processing, modeling and use of roadway and vehicle side information, data uncertainty and fast reduced models, consistency of data and models),
Superordinate modules (law, sustainability, knowledge transfer and research data management).
The SFB/TRR 339 builds on research conducted in the predecessor project FOR 2089: Durable Pavements for the Traffic of the Future "Coupled System: Road-Tire-Vehicle". Click here for the list of publications.
